Get Involved – Raise Money & Build Community

At Badger Carwash, fundraising isn’t just about raising dollars — it’s about raising community spirit. We’ve created an easy and effective way for local school groups to generate funds for trips, equipment, and events. Whether you’re part of the cheer squad, FFA, band, or another student group, we provide the venue, the setup, and the support — and your organization keeps 100% of the proceeds.

This hands-on experience gives students the opportunity to engage with the community while promoting school pride in a fun and visible way.

In-Kind Donations

In-kind donations of wash passes can be used in silent auctions, raffles, or other events for your group to raise money.

We offer a simple way for your local non-profit organization to experience fundraising success.

Badger Carwash makes fundraising simple, rewarding, and community-centered. We cover all operational costs—your group keeps 100% of the proceeds. With a high-traffic location, great visibility, and strong local brand recognition, we provide a fun and effective way for school groups to raise money. It’s also a great opportunity to connect with the community and promote your cause—all while we handle the logistics.

How It Works

On the day of the event, Badger Carwash will provide students with access cards or QR codes to activate the self-serve and automatic car wash equipment. When a customer drives up, students should greet them, explain the fundraising cause, and ask if they’re willing to donate. If the customer agrees, the student activates the wash for them if it’s the automatic, or start the self serve wash and washes the customer’s vehicle if on the self serve side. The students accept any donation the customer is willing to offer — 100% of those donations go to your group. Many customers are generous and often give more than the typical cost of a car wash.

If a customer prefers not to participate, students should politely let them continue on their own and should not approach them again. Students are welcome to use the entire wash facility, including vacuums and self-serve bays, but must be respectful of customers who decline to engage.

Fundraising Guidelines

Badger Carwash is proud to support school organizations in the Lampasas community by offering fundraiser car wash events. This is our way of giving back and building strong partnerships with local students and families.

Eligibility

Available to local school groups (Cheer, FFA, Band, Sports Teams, Academic Clubs, etc.)
Priority given to organizations raising funds for school-related trips or activities

Scheduling

Events are held quarterly
Saturdays from 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM only
Must book a date at least 30 days in advance
An in-person planning meeting is required prior to the event to go over expectations, logistics, and to collect emergency contact information
In the event of inclement weather, we will work with you to reschedule. Backup dates are not guaranteed but will be accommodated when possible.

Promotion Requirements To ensure a strong turnout, participating groups are expected to:

Create a Facebook Event at least 10 days prior, tagging Badger Carwash and inviting supporters
Post on social media at least 3 times before the event (announcement, reminder, day-of post)
Share the event in local high-traffic Facebook groups, such as Lampasas County Breaking News, to maximize visibility
Provide a flyer or graphic we can share on our own social media

Day-Of Expectations

Arrive by 7:30 AM for setup
Bring signage and/or wear group apparel for visibility
Key Avenue signage is suggested to help attract drive-by traffic
On-site signage identifying your group and cause is required so customers clearly understand who is fundraising and what the funds will support
Provide 2 emergency contacts who will be available and on-site throughout the event
Have a minimum of 3 adults on-site at all times to supervise and assist
Have energetic, helpful volunteers ready to greet and assist customers
Bring your own coolers with water or other drinks to keep volunteers hydrated
Badger Carwash will provide a pop-up tent for shade and comfort
Student involvement is strongly encouraged. We ask that students be the primary representatives of the group during the event and when promoting the fundraiser. Parents are welcome to assist, but student engagement builds leadership and community connection. Please avoid sending parents to request donations or represent the group in place of students.
All fundraising activities must remain on-site at Badger Carwash. Off-site solicitation (e.g., approaching nearby businesses) is not permitted.
Groups are expected to clean up the site at the end of the event, including removing signage, trash, and any group materials.

After the Event

Post a public thank-you message within 48 hours on social media
Tag Badger Carwash and include any photos or results from the day
We love celebrating your success! Sharing how much was raised helps inspire future groups and promotes transparency.
By participating, you agree that photos from the event may be used on Badger Carwash’s social media or promotional materials, unless you request otherwise in writing prior to the event.

To help us fulfill requests for donations, we kindly ask that request inquiries be completed online and submitted at least 30 days prior to the event date. Please allow 10 business days for your request to be reviewed. If approved, a member of our team will reach out to you via phone.

I was surprised and honored to find out I had won this award. I certainly wasn’t expecting to receive an award, so it took me a minute to process. Once I fully understood, I felt both pride and excitement. I’m using my grant money to purchase supplies that will help me provide my students with hands-on learning experiences, like math manipulatives. Anytime students can learn hands-on it provides a more lasting impact on their understanding and retention of the information. Plus, they have more fun learning that way.
